Festive Feast

I'm the first to admit that Christmas is my favourite time of year, regardless of the many scrooges around me - bah humbug to the lot of you too.

It's the over the top cheesy ness of every single Christmas film out there, especially the ones featuring daily on the 24/7 Christmas channel I very gratefully stumbled across a few weeks ago. It's the mouth watering food that seems to be everywhere at the moment, every cookery programme features at least one cute festive recipe, my absolute personal favourite so far being Mary Berry's Gingerbread House. Not just totally scrummy, but an absolute work of art as well.
It's the Christmas lights and decorations that bring places to life, and fill them with a sense of magic - slightly over the top description maybe, but never the less Christmas lights are beautiful and pressie shopping wouldn't be the same without them.

Putting up the deccies at home also brings great excitement to me so here's a few of my picks for this years tree..

 Christmas decorations aren't just limited to the tree in our house, we (my mum & myself) like to go all out with the festivities hanging garlands everywhere possible and placing
cute little birdies on every flat surface..
